Expert: CAIR helps Islamist insurrection:

A counter-terrorism expert named the Council on American Islamic Relations as aiding Islamist insurrection enemies in the U.S.

As Islamic jihad takes more than 100 victim lives worldwide every week, the Counsel on American Islamic Relations works hard to keep Americans from perceiving the Shari’a Islamic insurrection creeping forward within U.S. borders.

So said noted author and counter-terrorism expert Frank Gaffney in an interview with PRB News recently.

Gaffney, the founder and president of the Center for Security Policy, said CAIR is every inch a front for insurrection seeking to topple America’s Constitutional Republic, “an Islamist group,” he said.

“According to the U.S. Justice Department itself, an un-indicted co-conspirator Islamist front group in terrorism financing,” he added.

His reference was to the Texas federal court trial against the Islamic Holy Land Foundation whose charity dollars sashayed into Hamas terrorist coffers funding attacks against Israel.

Gaffney said CAIR takes a prominent place in causing investigative work designed to protect us to constantly misdirect because leaders are being distracted by false information.

“The FBI comes to mind, relying on the Counsel on American Islamic Relations for ’sensitivity training, CAIR, of all people,” Gaffney said.

“It is hard to imagine a more pernicious and effective assault on our law enforcement agencies and the job we need them to do.”

CAIR delivers a checkered past as it presents a façade of respectability - empowered by vast sums of Saudi-backed big-Islam dollars.

A recent project involved a CAIR Chicago-area executive director, Ahmed Rehab, succeeded in leading a group of Islamists posing as ordinary audience members at a Democratic Presidential debate.

He was able to place CAIR propaganda before the nation as if honest dialogue. “It seems we are facing a culture of fear-mongering,” Rehab said.

He asked Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards if he would help complete an agenda for civil rights - extended to Muslim communities.

“The civil rights movement is not over it’s not done yet. We’re still fighting,” Rehab said as his activists erupted into applause.

“You’ve got some fans, “ Edwards said. He proceeded to promise an end to profiling Muslims, “spying” on suspected Islamic terrorists, to close Guantanamo Bay and to never torture jihad terrorist detainees.

CAIR succeeded in pushing the hate crimes issue forward as if Muslims are the primary victims in America. FBI statistics reveal crimes targeting Muslims are down since 2001, representing only 11 percent of religious-based acts of violence or vandalism.

According to a report in Investors’s Business Daily, the overwhelming majority of so-called hate crimes, 66-percent, target Jews.

Radio talk show host Michael Savage has become a noted critic of CAIR. “CAIR is not a civil rights organization but is instead a political organization designed to advance a political agenda,” Savage said.

“CAIR is a radical voice that deliberately attempts to be seen as centrist…CAIR directs its rhetoric to the benefit of its extremist clients.

Savage has become the focus of a massive campaign to destroy the radio program’s commercial viability, pressuring advertisers to stop cut their ties.

The predatory practice has become the subject of a counter-suit by Savage.

As CAIR’s bullying and infiltration tactics carry on, more of it’s checkered past surfaces for Americans to see and understand.

CAIR civil rights coordinator Randall “Ismail” Royer is serving a 20-year term for training in Virginia to carry out jihad in America - a convicted home-grown terrorist.

He sent several CAIR associates to Pakistan to link up with Lashkar e-Taiba, Kashmiri terrorists linked to al-Qaeda.

CAIR director of community relations Bassem Khafagi stands convicted on fraud and terrorism charges stemming from a 2003 federal case.

CAIR Board of Directors member Ghassan Elashi stands convicted of channeling funds to Hamas, fetching a seven-year sentence in October 2006 for arranging illegal computer exports to countries backing terrorism.

CAIR began as an initiative of the now defunct Islamic Association for Palestine, with Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook and convicted jihad terrorist Sami al-Arian integral in founding it.

CAIR is a named conspirator in the Hamas funding schemes charged on federal indictments in Texas.

CAIR’s membership on the FBI advisory board remains in good standing.

Taking CAIR, a final warning from Gaffney

“What makes today’s enemies so dangerous is that they are adept at using our civil liberties against us as they try to advance their political movement,” Gaffney said to PRB News.

“Between [them] and their lawyers, and the radical leftists with whom they often make common cause, we are clearly seeing within our society the danger intensify ironically by the civil liberties that are the core of our own Constitutional Republic.”
